Student Learning Services provides helpful face-to-face and online help for individuals to reach or exceed their academic goals. SLS hosts various workshops and tutoring sessions catered towards improving various academic areas such as writing, stats, math, and study skills as well as structured study sessions and mock midterms. All of the services offered by the learning community are facilitated by individuals who are part of the PAL program. These individuals are academically-strong students who take on a leadership role as a mentor for other students. A learning community is a small group of individuals with similar interests, academic inclinations and classes. In these groups guided by 2 peer-mentors, individuals are able to develop bonds and grow within their communities. For more information about how you can become involved, click here.
